Find Freedom in Jesus

The Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
- 2 Corinthians 3:17

Service UPDATE May 14, 2020

Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well in spirit and body - staying safe and taking precautions.
First I want to thank all of you for your continuing support and offerings.  Many of you have been donating online and we have received many offerings through the mail or drive-by.  Thanks for your faithfulness during this time.  Our finances are doing okay at the moment.  Please remember our missionaries at this time - we are falling short of our monthly commitments there for the last few weeks.  We have a good reserve in our missions fund so our commitments will all continue to be met.  Thank you for the special donations that have come in for Convoy of Hope and all that they are doing to help the present crisis.  They are doing a great work and are being stretched to new limits.
If you have been viewing our Sunday Services on Facebook, you are aware that we are targeting the last Sunday of May (the 31st) as our first Sunday to meet together at the church.  We are getting mixed messages about the virus and it is difficult to know what exactly the situation is or our proper response.  On the one hand we are being told that the virus is still spreading and the number of new cases is growing at a faster rate.  At the same time, we are seeing some relaxing of the safety regulations that have been put in place.
Many churches have started meeting again and some, like us, are waiting a bit longer.  I will let you know more definitely as the date approaches but for now we are planning to resume services at the church on the 31st.  Of course, we will take precautionary measures regarding disinfecting and distancing.  We will want families to sit together as a family and we will not be offering the usual Kids Church or anything for the children until some later date.  We are still trying to decide about the adult Sunday School Class.  They could meet in larger room such as the youth hall if more distancing space is needed.  I think we will just try to determine of those in the class would like to meet or prefer to wait on that.
You will need to determine your personal position and possible health and risk factors.  We would love to see all of you but want all of you to feel comfortable when we come together.  We will continue to have a service available that you can find on Facebook, our website and app - even after we begin to meet at the church so those who do not attend can still be a part of our service in this way.
Thanks again for your love, faithfulness, prayers and support during this time.  Let us know if there is anything you need that we might be able to provide.  Also please let me know if you did not receive this as an email so I can update my email contact list to include you.
